Hurricane Alert!!

Yes, that right. It landed right inside my house- Hurricane Kassie. She did quite a bit of damage but luckily there were no casualties. It literally happened in a blink of an eye.

*Sigh* Yup I guess I can't turn my head for a minute now. She took everything, I mean everything out of her dresser!!! (Okay whatever I am lying you all know she has more clothes than that **running to hide**) I guess she was trying to play dress up?!?!

And I guess those shoes were not good enough because she proceeded to her closet and started throwing shoes everywhere until she found the perfect pair!

And if that wasn't enough I think the TERRIBLE TWOS have hit us!!!!!!!!!!!

Finding her way

For the past two months I have watched my little babe turn into.. well a sweet little girl. I know it sounds silly but when your child spends 6 months in a body cast- time stands still. Everyone and everything moves forward but life in a cast just seems to stand still. So now I watch how she is hitting a million milestones in these short two months and its just beyond amazing. Her little personality is just bursting and she is soooo independent.

She tries so much to be just like her sisters- she breaks into their rooms daily and loves to get into their things.

She is all girl...

Baby curls, fairytales, dress up, baby bows, princess shoes, patty cake, endless hours of peek-a-boo. I couldn't imagine it any other way...

Queen of Hearts

The other day Kassie was being super quiet and we all know what that means. I heard her say "cheese" so I peeked my head around the corner. Gosh I guess I am rubbing off on her huh?

And yes, she even looked in the view finder to see how her picture turned out!! Next time though I think she should take the lens cap off!! :o)

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! The girls made cupcakes and decorated them. I think they did pretty well.

And of course guess who was the first to dig in??

Well I am off to try to make some big bday plans for you know who! Gosh time sure does fly!!

Field of Dreams

We had some freakish warm weather the other day so me and the munchkin set out to explore. We found this oh sooo gorgeous spot that had the perfect light for about 20 minutes (had to hurry!!). I hate winter but if you stop and take the time to look around you can see its beauty. So glad I was able to capture part of it.

And of course there is no other beauty than seeing her walk on the sand again..

I've been slackin' on posting again!! The weather was finally nice enough the other day to take our jackets off for a second. Thank goodness. A good excuse to go outside with the camera.

Now you know that every girl needs a little MJ!!! I've been trying to think outside of the box lately-ehh- let me know if its working.

And of course I have been working on Valentine's cards for the girls. It just wouldn't be me to go to target and get a box of character cards-- now that would just be too easy!! :o)

Little nest

The girls had a few snow days last week. It was so nice not having to go anywhere or really do anything. Of course they were driving poor Kassie crazy so I scooped up my little babe and took her off into my "studio". And as the snow fell softly on the ground that day you could hear little giggles from a far.

They say that laughter is the best medicine...

Kassie says they are right :o) And I will say it for the millionth time- her strength just amazes me. To come so far, so quick.









Yes, I love hats- this might be my most favorite one yet!!!! Sweet Anthropologie has my heart..........and my wallet too!
